System Selection

The selection phase starts by structuring the project. When a current system is evaluated with other vendors with the aim to find a more suitable system, it is important to scope the project in an early stage. This stage can be handled as a separate project, a pre-study, before the actual decision to select a new system is taken by the company. It will give the management basic data for the decision and a clear view of the overall system needs.

Once a project has been setup, Crescore functions as project management throughout the selection phase. We have valuable experience from handling project plans, project organisation and management, RFP and RFI processes and help with the decisions including meeting with the vendors. We work together with the organisation with interviews, vendor interviews, workshops, and analysis presentations. The figure below describes the critical milestones in the process where systems are subsequently qualified.

In addition to our consultant's competence and experience, Crescore has an outstanding ability to help our clients find the appropriate system through the use of data from our scoring database, which contains information about most of the available and suitable tools and software for the financial sector.
